Lances enlongated her reach, but they still had not given her a sense of comfortness like swords had. Swords were all-around weapons, as well as the weapon choice she had dedicated most of her life to grow better at. The sudden switch of arsenal had taken a toll on her preformance.
While swords were well-balanced in weight and power, lances held their power at it’s point, and depending on which lance you held, the weight was either too light or too heavy. Lucina could not find an inbetween.
Dedicated, she tried and tried again—that is… until she heard something behind her. Surprised, she turned viciously around, swinging the lance in the process, barely dodging the person behind her.
“Gods! You scared me! You could have had your head skwered off if you weren’t careful…”
Tiki jumped backwards just in time to avoid Lucina’s lance, a worried expression painting her visage.
