「Ω」It was another Human Holiday he couldn’t comprehend. Birthdays. He never truly understood why people celebrated every year on the day of their birth. So what? They were alive, good for them. Was it a milestone for some people? Or is it just because a human life was so limited that they need a day to themselves to remind them of their short lives.
However, something had come up that caught the Fell Manakete’s attention. It wasn’t a humans birthday, no. It was Tiki’s birthday. The Divine dragon that he has mixed feelings for. Some may call it obsessivness, others might call it crushing. Personally, he’d have to deal with these feelings one way or another. If he were to be accepted by all. Where else to start than your old enemy?
The manakete sighed as he walked towards the tent that belonged to the Divine. He honestly wasn’t sure what to give her, however, they were of the same over all race. Manakete’s. Surely their tribes had something in common, right? He looked down at the scaled necklace he had made. The scales were dipped in glittering green paint, as they did well. In fact, the person who helped said ‘That color looks like Tiki’s hair!’ when in reality, he just got a bunch of leaves and grass, added water, and mixed it. It was an old tactic, but it seemed to worked out well in the end.
There were also two dragon fangs towards the center, and in the center, was the item people refered to as ‘Tiki’s Tear’. A rather odd item name considering the person that the item is named after, is in the same army as them. However, he decided to use this to his advantage in his gift.
“Tiki?” Rex called out. His voice cracked when he called our her name. It wasn’t loud or too soft. It was a mix of worry, anger, calmness, and possibly even excitement. Gods, he needed to get his feelings together. “I heard if was your.. ‘birthday’. I made you something.. May I come in and give it you?” His blood boiled with the desire to revenge. Grima’s blood was circulating in his viens to kill this manakete. However, he repressed it as best he could. The best way he found out to release this pent up anger was to move. Tapping his foot or moving his hands. As of now, he was doing both. He was tapping his palm against his leg, as his foot rapidly tapped.
Perhaps the divine dragon should’ve woken up earlier on the day of her birth but being able to sleep in was a good start of the day for her. Her eyes slowly opened when she heard someone calling her name, a hand reaching up to rub at them as a yawn surpassed her lips.
If there was one thing that Tiki didn’t like it was being woken up.
But it wasn’t like she was going to tell him that.
She stumbled out of her tent and almost into Rex, rubbing her fists at her eyes before letting out a yawn. Tiki composed her herself, smoothing out her clothes as her eyes blinked rapidly at the morning sun.
